For children, a brain or spinal cord tumor diagnosis can be extremely devastating and in most cases the entire family will be affected in every conceivable way as the child endures months and often years of grueling treatment. Many families are unable to meet the financial demands placed on them at this extremely difficult time.

With the help of Speedway Children's Charities, the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children provides assistance with transportation costs inolved in obtaining medical care; hearing aids, prosthetics, and glasses; home health equipment; and much more, that parents cannot afford for their child during his or her brain tumor treatment.
