Speedway Children's Charities Ride of a Lifetime
Take a lap with your favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup driver prior to the start of the Kobalt 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 8, 2009. Speedway Children's Charities Ride of A Lifetime Driver Auction features twenty five of the NASCAR's top stars up for bid on EBay beginning at 6:00 pm (EST) Sunday, February 22nd and ending at 6:00 pm (EST) on Sunday, March 1st. You and your guest will be given a pre-race cold pit tour and then you will receive the ride of a lifetime with your favorite driver during the parade lap prior to the start of the Kobalt 500. You will ride in the passenger seat of a Corvette convertible around the mile and a half Atlanta Motor Speedway. Proceeds from the auction will benefit children's organizations in the greater Atlanta area through Speedway Children's Charities as well as driver selected organizations such as the Shriner's Children's Hospital, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, the Dale Jr. Foundation, the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation, Cerebral Palsy, the Jeff Gordon Foundation and Make-A-Wish.
