Who Can Apply and What's Expected

Credit earning college students who apply will be considered for internships. While sports management degrees are increasing in popularity, there is no course of study that is required for internships and all will be considered. This internship is great for any career-minded individual interested in event management.

Qualified applicants will be called for an initial telephone interview in addition to a formal interview with the SCC staff.

The SCC intern assists in organizing events by detailing auction items and timelines during events and get hands-on experience by helping coordinate behind the scenes, maintains and compiles relevant databases and contact lists for better communication, assist in designing and implementing sponsorship proposals, compile public announcements and design marketing tools.

Office Hours

Applicants are expected to be motivated and be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends during events. This is an unpaid internship.
